We are having a big event – Deals for Meals Casino Night – Saturday, October 25th, 6-9 pm at the Elks Lodge.
This has been a year of ups and downs – budget cut threats, cost of food soaring – but we are hopeful due to the goodness of our community. Through it all we are completely grateful for your support.
In order to raise more funds this year during our fall campaign, we are hosting a night of casino games plus a silent auction, a wine pull, food and beverages with a cash bar, and more! All proceeds benefit Meals on Wheels of Boulder and support the mission.
Our fall mailing, an invitation to our event which is now in local homes, serves as a way to purchase tickets, but to also donate if you are unable to attend. This takes the place of our regularly scheduled fall mailer, and your support is more important than ever before.
Each season is a different challenge to navigate as we continue our mission of delivering hot, nutritious meals to your neighbors in need. The atmosphere right now is unpredictable, but your neighbors still need our meals so they can eat. Many of them say it is the only food of their day. With your generosity, we will continue to prepare and deliver these meals to those who rely on Meals on Wheels of Boulder.
