September is National PACE Month!

September is National PACE month, and we are celebrating with our local partner TRU PACE

TRU PACE is a care model that allows older adults over age 55 with long-term care needs to live independently in their communities for as long as possible. They have dedicated caregivers, transportation, homecare, full medical care, rehabilitation, medication, medical equipment, mental health support, meals, and opportunities for socialization at the day center.   The center serves as the central hub of all services, including scheduling and transportation to and from all appointments.

TRU PACE is a nonprofit organization that empowers older adults to age with dignity and independence. As a division of TRU Community Care founded in 1976, TRU PACE is a trusted resource in north Denver including all of Boulder, Broomfield, and portions of Weld, Adams and Jefferson counties. TRU PACE operates the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), which allows eligible seniors to live at home for as long as possible by providing comprehensive medical care and social services.
